Secondary Schools:

JusticeJustice In A Day
One of our major successes, receiving great acclaim and high demand for its delivery. Professional actors work with young people from schools as they follow a fictional character in a series of scenes from a moment of breaking the law to sentencing at a local Magistrates Court. As each scene develops, opportunities arise to investigate the cause and effect of being involved in law breaking – not just for the offender but also the victim, their families and the wider community.

Devised by Emyr John and produced by Theatr Clwyd and the Police and Communities Trust (PACT).  The ScottishPower Foundation together with a number of organisations and groups fund the project so that it can be provided for free at the point of delivery.

ConnorsConnor’s Time
A follow on interactive performance workshop, targeting the same young people who participated in “Justice in a Day”, six months later. The workshop follows Connor as he leaves the custody of a Young Offender’s Institute and faces life on license in the community. The young people will act as mentors to try and help Connor steer his way through the many pitfalls that lie ahead.

The R&D and pilot scheme were made possible thanks to funding provided by the Queen’s Trust.
